Pilates, Stretch, Core - Sarah
Beginning Pilates: This is a functional core workout that incorporates stretching and abdominal strength. The teaching is a form from Joseph Pilates who was a traditional boxer and gymnast. He created this method to help keep his own body rehabilitated and maintained a healthy athletic lifestyle.
Stretch: This is a combination of strength and stretching using light weights and a yoga strap working from the head down to the toes. This class works though all the body parts to make sure your body is healthy and stretched. Stretch is important to your overall health and preventing injury and to insure proper balance. This class is designed to keep tennis players and runners stretched out to maintain healthy hamstrings and shoulders and others with proper balance.
Core Strength: This is a combination of Pilates and hard core workout. This class incorporates squats, twists, planks, and the Pilates methods of exercise. Every class is new and exciting using the big balls, medicine balls, Pilates rollers, yoga straps, gliders, and bands. It is essential to challenge yourself with new mind body exercises that teach balance, core strengths, and coordination.
