Since opening in 1975, Chamisal has grown into one of the premier Tennis & Fitness Clubs on the Monterey Peninsula. Our beautiful club is located off Laureles Grade Road, between Monterey and Salinas. Nestled in the rolling hills overlooking the scenic views of Corral De Tierra, we attract members from Salinas, Monterey, Carmel Valley and beyond. Chamisal’s gym features state of the art “Strive Circuit Training” workout equipment, allowing members to achieve a complete full body workout in less than 30 minutes. Yoga, aerobic classes, water aerobics and group fitness classes, along with a full staff of personal trainers, help Chamisal to be regarded as one of the finest health clubs in the area.
Chamisal boasts a full complement of tennis players at all skill levels which makes it easy to find that competitive match. We also offer private tennis lessons and year round group instruction for adults and children. Our Pro Shop has the latest in tennis fashion apparel, along with the newest racquets, accessories and racquet stringing on premises.
