| Chamisal is fortunate to be located in a warm microclimate which makes for very good year round outdoor swimming. We have two large pools heated year-round. One is dedicated to lap swimming and maintained at a temperature of 79 degrees. The larger, our family pool, can be used for swimming laps but is also our recreational pool for family use. The family pool has a shallow area, two feet deep, for the little ones and two slides for kids to enjoy as well as a water basketball hoop. The pool is used for swim lessons in the summer and water aerobics throughout the year. The water temperature is maintained at 82 degrees. We also have two hot tubs, one for adults at 104 degrees, and another family tub for children to enjoy with their parents or for kids to use independently (age10 and older) with the water temperature at 98 degrees.

Our pools are open from 6am – 9pm everyday. It is a good place to relax while escaping the coastal fog.
