| Chamisal has the reputation of being the finest tennis facility on the peninsula. We have 13 beautiful courts with eight lighted for night play. Members may make tennis reservations up to one week in advance. Each new member is encouraged to participate with a complimentary stroke evaluation with our director of tennis, Scott Krueger. We then proactively help you find players at your ability and availability.

“Friday night drop in round robins”, “Men’s day drop-in tennis” on weekdays and “Challenge courts” on weekends, plus three levels of Ladies Interclub leagues and numerous USTA leagues throughout the year keep Chamisal tennis hopping. In addition we offer many competitive and social tennis activities for all of our members and their guests.
Tennis lessons for all ages, both private and group, are available year round. In addition, we periodically offer free clinics to our fitness members.

Chamisal is host to several major tournaments throughout the year. In the spring it is the “Stahl Motor Company Elite 16 Tennis Championships”. In mid-summer we host the “Sam Linder Monterey Bay Tennis Championships” now in its 38th year. In the late summer we are hosts to the “USTA Sectional Championships for Northern California”. This fall, we will again host the “Women’s National Senior Hard Court Championships”.
Our full service Pro Shop offers the latest in tennis accessories, featuring Wilson and Babolat racquets at very competitive prices. With our demo racquet program you may try the latest racquets to see what works for you before you buy. We offer racquet restringing and a full line of men’s and women’s tennis apparel as well as a variety of other tennis and fitness items.
